  Hi, would it be possible to deactivate my account with my previous blog data intact?

  Hi there,

  If you deactivate/close your account, that also deletes all sites in your account. After 30 days your account and site data is then completely purged from our system, at which point it’s not possible any more to restore either the site or account.

  So if you want to preserve your blog content, closing your account is not at option :)

  Can you share a bit on what your end goal is here? If, for example, you just want to take your site offline so it’s no longer publicly accessible, but you still want access to the content, you can do that by setting your site to private instead:
