Reactivating my domain

    I want to reactivate a domain which I had paid for previously with WordPress and which I want to start paying for again. There does not seem to be any obvious way of doing this.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It looks like your domain has reverted to the wild -try buying it again (not renew)

    I have also flagged this for staff help – sometimes they need to clear something in your account when you had an old domain name in it

    I can access the dashboard for that domain (theagreeddenarius.com) and when I try to buy it I get told it is already there. There is this message at the bottom of the page I have just noticed: “If your domain registration has expired and you can’t see the “Renew” button in My Upgrades, you should contact support immediately.”

    I cannot see the “Renew” button. I would contact support but this seems to be what I am doing now, I guess.

    @faithfulwon: I’ve cleared the expired domain subscription for you, could you please try re-registering that domain again and let me know if you run into any issues?

    @jenia – how about adding the ability for users to clear expired domains from their accounts?

    We have a study stream of people with domains that have reverted to the wild but can’t buy them again because their accounts still have the old expired records

    @jenia: Thanks for that, I’ve been able to access and reactivate that domain.

    @auxclass: I agree, that would make for a better user experience. Our Store developers are doing a lot of new work around domains at the moment, so stay tuned! In the meantime and as always, thank you for your help flagging down these threads.
