Reactivating my site

  I stopped paying for my site this month. I cancelled the annual payments of £35.99 and £15.01. I have now changed my mind and would like to reactivate the site by paying the £51.00. How can I do this?

  Did you have a WordPress Personal plan? That plan is no longer available to new users and if you let it lapse it might not be possible to recover it. Only the more expensive Pro plan is currently offered. To recover the domain may be possible though although as it is in the redemption period that will be expensive too. This thread is tagged for staff assistance.

  When you cancelled your plan and domain, that placed the domain into redemption:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period

  We can still try to recover the domain, but you will need to pay an $80 redemption fee in addition to the regular $18 domain renewal cost. If you agree, I can send a payment request and contact our domain registrar once it has been paid.

  Additionally, as @themagicrobot indicated, the Pro plan is the only paid plan at this time that would allow you to use a domain.

  In the next week or two, there will be other options than those currently shown on our plans page. Unfortunately, I can’t provide any more details than that, but keep an eye out on our blog for any upcoming announcements.

  This is very helpful information.

  Thank you. I would be happy to pay a redemption fee, although $80 is a little high.

  However, moving from £51 per year to £15 per month in addition does seem to be a little unfair.

  I will wait 2 weeks and investigate the other alternatives and then be in touch as to my decision.

  Just to clarify – are you referring to the domain subscription with Pro when you upgrade to it for one year? If so, your domain credit has been used when you used it with the personal plan. So, you can purchase the Pro Plan once you pay for the upgrade and the redemption fee.
