Reactivating old domain

  I’m trying to activate my old domain but when I’m creating new blog it generates [username]blog.wordpress.com.

  Why it there is “blog” word in free domain? Can I have the just simple free domain with my username without any adds?

  fishyhare.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  probably has to do with you deleting the site – WordPress.COM used to have a never reuse a site URL, they have changed the policy recently to allow recycling of URL’s after two years

  So I can have the old ulr domain back? Or is it lost forever?
