Reactivating/recovering a lapsed/old account

    Hi,
    I used to have a paid blog/website hosted by wordpress. Payment/upkeep of this expired in 2018.
    I’m just wondering if it is technically possible to reinstate payment and membership, and if this will recover all my old/previously posted content?

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of lensmeyourinsight.wordpress.com? If so, all your content is still there, and accessible at that free address. WordPress.com sites aren’t taken offline and no content is removed if a paid plan expire. Instead, the site simply reverts to our free plan, but otherwise remain intact.

    The site is currently set to private, which means only you can access it. But you can set it to public at Settings ->General, after which search engines will automatically start indexing it again, and anyone with the direct link will be able to access it.

    If you want to continue with a paid upgrade again, go to My Site ->Upgrades ->Plans, and select the plan you want. But this isn’t necessary to make your site public again.
