reactivation of a deleted website
-
Dear All,
We would like to create a website for our organization called „Trafikkör”.
We have tried to register but we received an error message that the name is booked for another user. Finally we have find out that one of our former team member already deactivated our registration. (probably it was Ádám Balog). If we want to enter to the website it also said that the address is deleted.
Is it possible to reactivate the former address such as trafikkor.wordpress.com?
Reason: the name of our organization is the same as the name of the „old” website. To choose a different name could cause confusions.
Awaiting for your kind and promt feedback.

https://trafikkor.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
The answer is no.
You had to ignore multiple warnings that site deletion is a permanent and irreversible act in order to delete the URL. I am sorry but you cannot claim a deleted blog URL. No one can use a deleted blog URL regardless of who registered it. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here and you can confirm by reading:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

If the former URL was deleted permanently can we register with the same name again and not the similar one? As it is not used any more.
