-
I searched the forum with the words “Read More”. The first post had the solution to having a post with a small description and the link to the full article. The instructions were.
(1) Turn off the text rich editor by unchecking the checkbox on your Profile page.
-> Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile -> Personal Options
(2) Use the “more” button in the ordinary editor.
(3) And the manual method is to type this –
more- <!–read more here –>Every seemed to work fine until I got to step 3. I used the “More” button and typed in “Read more” however the link didn’t appear at the end of the description post.
I’m probably missing something simple. Can somebody explain whatelse I need to do?
There are no dumb questions but sometimes there are exceptions. :)
Thanks

also, you can insert the “more tag” from the rich text editor, it’s the button to the right of the image (tree).
you just can’t put in custom text.

So, I was obliged to not use the “Read more”.
