I can’t currently look in either of your posts because you are editing. Do you mind if I kick you out of one or both of them so that I can take a look at what you’ve done and maybe correct anything that needs correcting?

Out of desperation I trashed the the one I posted several hours ago and started a new one (same stuff). I have just posted it. It is one long post and I still didn’t do something right because my next page inserts didn’t work.

Please do look at the current one; the first one shows up as an ‘ooops.

correct what you will. I’m beyond the back of beyond. thanks.

OK, I went ahead and updated the most recent version of Double Whammy with page breaks where I could best figure you had intended them from your previous versions.

If you go in and take a look at the post, you’ll see that the “nextpage” tag shows up in the visual editor as a thin line across the page. If you look in the text editor it looks like this:



If you’d like the breaks at different places, you just need to move the “nextpage” tag on the text editor side!

Thank you! You put them right where I intended, and now I see at least part of what I did wrong. When I typed in the ‘next page’ code I didn’t put the the hyphens before and after. GROAN.

Now, is there a way to get the first Double Whammy off the site so the ooops page doesn’ show up?

I hope you didn’t have anything better to do today than deal with me!

I actually don’t even know what I did that time! I think maybe you were seeing something cached on your site because as much as I’d love to claim credit for fixing this, in this case I didn’t. It was all you. ;)

All me! That’s a laugh. But I don’t know any other 75 year old grandmothers who have two blogs running, do you? It has been an education.
