  how do i shorten my post? or to show the read more sign so that my full entry would be seen in my home site

  Hi there!

  In order to shorten your post and display only part of it, you will need to use an excerpt. Excerpt are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content. Not of all themes support excerpts by default, and the theme you are using (Sobe) is not one of them (according to this list). You can still create an excerpt by using the More tag instead.
