“Read More” and Header Questions

1) You can see that I’m trying make a kind of “newspaper” quality to the blog with the mini posts underneath the most recent post. My question: Is it possible to make a “read more” link at the bottom for each of the mini posts, either before or after the bottom border?
2) It appears that FF and Chrome add an additional 12ish pixels below my header before the menu, while IE does not and obeys the 100px height correctly. I’m not sure what I’m missing.
Thanks for any help!

I just recommend manually entering the read more tag into your post cause it wont appear automatically

Are you needing to do something different than what the “more” tag does? This tag can be inserted at the desired break-point using a button in the editor toolbar, captioned “insert More tag”.

Wow. I can’t believe that I hadn’t ever noticed the “more” tag option while posting. That solved that problem! Thanks!
Now, just the issue with the header. I’m still scratching my head.

OK. This header thing is interesting. There seems to be a space like a margin between the header and the menu of ~18px. I thought it might be the “skip-link” messing it up but I’ve taken that out with “display:none” and the space is still there. I set all margins and padding to 0. I don’t get it. The space shouldn’t be there.

I found the problem with the header. It had to do with the default margins. I thought that I had zeroed the margins for both header and menu but apparently I had not. IE, FF, and Chrome all display the page correctly with no added space.

Hello, I wonder if you can help. I have purchased the custom CSS upgrade but am a novice at CSS. I have uploaded my custom header using the custom header upload tool and it does appear but unfortunately there is a white dashed line just below it. Now this seems to correspond with the dashed line separating articles but I can’t see how to get rid of it from below the header or even to get rid of it completely.
Can someone please help me?
I can post me style sheet for you to look at if this helps?Much appreciated.
