"Read More" blocks
-
I’m just setting up my blog in the Dyad theme. I can’t get the posts on my front page to show the yellow “Read More” blocks. It randomly appeared on one of my posts, but no others? How do I reproduce it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“Read more” appears after the post excerpt — the first 55 words — as long as there are more words in the post. The post “Red, white, and Evangelical” is already short enough (under 55 words) so that it can be read in full on the front page and no “Read more” button appears. If you’d like a “Read more” button, try adding more text to the post to bring it over 55 words.

That makes perfect sense. Thank you! While I’m at it, is there any way to make the “featured” slides in the front page selectable?

You’re welcome!
If you click the post title in the featured area you’ll get to the individual post. Is that what you mean?

Hmm – I’m able to click on your slider’s post titles in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome on Mac 10.9.5.
Could you tell me what browser and version in which you’re not able to click them?
Could you please try a different browser and see if they work there, and give me the browser and version?

I’ve got it. I was trying to click on the “featured” tab, rather than the title of the article. Just a mistake on my part. Thanks so much for your help. The WordPress support is awesome!
