Read more button and font issues

    I’ve read through what feels like a hundred posts and articles about how to insert a read more tag into a text, but I still can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve gone to the post and pressed the read more tag where I wanted to insert it and went to the HTML section to change the wording and it still doesn’t seem to be working. I’m so sure I’m missing something else, like a setting I need to change or something. Any ideas?

    Have you actually published the post with the read more tag? Because the instructions say:-
    “Because the More Tag only splits posts on your home page/Posts page and archives, you won’t see the split when you preview the post or are viewing the individual post page. You’ll only see the tag on your home page/Posts page and archives.”
