Read More buttons on blog home page – using Pique theme

    Hello

    We’ve recently switched to the Pique theme and in general I am very happy with it. However, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a minor issue.

    On the home page of our website, recent blog posts are shown in the panels. And some of them contain a ‘Read More’ button while others don’t. Can anyone tell me why this is and what I can do to change it so that all the panels contains this button.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there,

    I think I have an answer for you on the Read More issue. The posts in the home page scroll that are missing the Read More button appear to have post excerpts. I say this because the first sentence of the actual post is different from what shows on the home page scroll.

    For example, the post titled Save Samhuinn Campaign Makes the News has a different first sentence than what appears on the home page scroll.

    So, in the wp-admin, if you navigate to that particular post, scroll down below the post content box you will see the excerpt box. Remove the excerpt and see if that fixes the issue.
