Read more function not working.

  Hi all,

  I am new to WordPress and am trying to set up my blog. When I insert the read more tag, it inserts the code but does not work. I am trying to do this on a front page post.

  Sorry, found the problem. I was looking at the view post selection in the editor, not the actual site. seems strange though, when ytou selct “view post” you should see the results of an edit.

  view post does show the actual edit – since the Read More never shows when an individual post is read – you will never see the read more until the post is published and you look at the front page of your site
