"Read more" in more tag does not show in Opti theme ith short texts.
-
When we split the text with a <!–more> tag, we get a “Read more>” or equivalent link in the main page.
I recently upgraded my blog (mariobarbatti.wordpress.com) to the Opti theme. Since then, the “Read more>” link only appears if the text before the more tag is longer than 40 words.
This behavior, which seems to be a feature of the Opti theme, wasn’t in the theme description when I bought it.
Bad enough, from the statistics, I see that visitors tend to follow to the full post more often when “Read more>” link is there.
Is there a way to get the “Read more>” link for shorter texts in this theme?
Thanks,
Mario

Hi Mario,
Can you actually repost this in the Opti Support Forum?
http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/opti
Since you purchase a Premium theme, the theme author can answer your questions for you. They’d be better able to answer this questions and/or why it was designed this way.
Thank you!
