'Read More' Link

  Hi! I am new to WordPress.com and I recently published my first post. I noticed that on the site, the entire article is shown instead of showing a few lines of said article followed by a ‘Read More’ or ‘Continue Reading’ button to read the rest. Can I get help with adding this feature? Thank you!

  Hi Wilmer, and welcome to WordPress!

  To use the ‘read more’ function for your already published first post, you can head over to My Site > Blog Posts > and choose to edit your post. Once there, click where you want the break to be, and then press the “Insert Read More tag” icon.

  A grey dotted line along with the word ‘MORE’ should then appear, separating your content to what you want to show and what you want hidden underneath the tag :)!
