'Read More' on a Page

  On a Page with a lot of text, I can’t get ‘Read More’ to work. It works fine on the Blog Page. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  The More tag is used most often on posts, but the More Tag can be used in pages, but the split will only be visible in certain themes:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/#using-the-more-tag-in-pages

  This support articles mentions the use of pagination to split long pages:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/nextpage/
