read more prevent page scroll

  I have been trying to figure out how to prevent page scrolling when clicking a read more link.

  I have been trying different codes and inputting them into the customize css, but they fail to work.

  When I have customize on preview, the page scroll doesn’t seem to happen, but outside of the the preview it seems to scroll back to the “read more” section of the post.

  Please help

  I looked at your blog and couldn’t find ‘read more’ links.

  Have you tried to go through the steps here?

  Hi @masuda0105, with the read more tag, the software takes the person to the place they left off reading in the post so they do not have to scan around to figure out where they left off. This is something controlled in the theme/WordPress files and not something that can be changed via CSS.
