Read More Tag not working in Hemngway Rewritten theme.

  Whenever I am clicking on the “Insert Read More” button, a line “READ MORE” appears below the first paragraph of the text matter. But it does not do anything as the preview appears still with the entire text.

  I am having the same issue with the Cubic theme.

  When we insert the more tag into a posts the text split and tag does NOT display in preview mode. However, once the post is published it will be there.

  The more tag is used to split content that appears on the main page for posts which is by default the front page of the site. In your theme what’s displayed is an image with the post title overlaid on it. When the image is clicked the post is displayed on it’s own page. You are using a grid based theme https://cubicdemo.wordpress.com/ as depicted on the live demo site so I’m not clear on what you expect. Please consult https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/cubic/
