Read more tag on posts not working

  I am trying to add “read more tag” in my posts with excerpt box empty/ The tag gets added, but after updating and preview , it is not working. Is it anything related to the plan I have opted for? Pleas help

  Is this for https://vacaywork.com/?

  The Read More link only appears on the posts page that lists all your blog posts, or on other archive pages like category pages. You don’t have a posts page set up on your site, but you can see it in action on a category page like https://vacaywork.com/category/uncategorized/

  You can set up a posts page on your site in the Customizer, in the same section where you set your home page:
