My latest blogpost had a more pictorial display of the topic I was writing on. Separately on another “page”, I typed up the menu and then linked it to my blogpost. I did not see it in The Reader, and I haven’t had much traffic on that particular post. Any ideas as to why?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I did not see it in The Reader, and I haven’t had much traffic on that particular post.
You didn’t see the post in the Reader? Traffic can fluctuate widely from post to post for many reasons. Is your traffic to a new post normally within a predictable range?

As soon as I publish it, I get it on The Reader, but for some reason I did not this time, which got me thinking, was it because of the links I typed separately on a “page”?
-
The links should not have had this effect. I do notice that, unlike the earlier ones I see on your front page, the latest post has no categories or tags assigned to it. I wonder if that might be a factor in its failure to appear in the Reader.
You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention if you’d like a more definitive answer.

Thanks very much for getting back to me. I actually do have a category and tags assigned to that post. The latest one that I posted an hour or so ago, was just a re-blog of the same one to see if it appeared on The Reader, and it did. I’ve since deleted it. What is a “modlook” tag? Actually I have sent a note to the staff asking why his might have happened.

You apparently added the tag “The Reader” to the sidebar here. Just add another that says “modlook,” without quotation marks. I believe it’s short for “moderator look.”
