  I have recently started a blog with wordpress and am using the free plan at the moment. I was just wondering if my posts are shown on the reader even though I am using a free plan, or do I have to have a paid plan before my posts are shown there?

  Yes, your posts are available on the Reader. The plan has no affect on that. Let me know if you have any other questions.
