  Where can I at least let you guys know that the new reader isn’t getting any better with your updates.

  I do not need the extra menu. As the first you enter the reader I already know that each is being followed. Why again changing back to things you discarded last time.?

  Sorry guys but it isn’t getting any better. Disliked your last update there to.

  Aside from “extra menu” reference will you provide some specific feedback on features? Exactly what do you find that is not better please?

  Hi there! I too would love some more specific details. Screenshots are very helpful also.

  I’m not sure I understand what you mean by ‘extra menu’. Could you upload a screenshot of this for me?

  I’m not sure about any new menu, but the reader has been getting worse.

  I started using the reader a number of months ago, when I logged in the latest post I viewed was at the top of the page and on the right side there was an orange tab saying ‘X new posts’. Now when I log in it automatically loads all new posts and I have to scroll and search to find the one I read last.

  Recently another useful feature disappeared. When I previously kept the reader page open on my taskbar while I was busy on a different page/screen and a site I follow posted an new post I’d see a little (1) appear on the reader taskbar tab. That notification has disappeared so now I’m back to manually checking for new posts.

  Combined with the first ‘update’ that means I have to stay logged in or else I end up having to search what post I read last and even when I’m logged in I have to switch to the reader every hour or so to see if there has been any new posts.

  I very much like using the wordpress reader, for it saves me a lot of time compared to checking each individual page I follow for updates. However these two features that have disappeared in ‘updates’ greatly helped me doing so and the reader has become lesser for it. I dearly miss these functions and can only hope they are not permanently gone.
