Reader display

  The blogs I post don’t seem to display in the WordPress reader section, I tag the posts accordingly but still no luck??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  @matthewmallett – have you seen this page – https://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/

  Tags and categories get converted to tags in the reader – eg wordpress.com/tag/photo-technique/

  It says on the wordpress.com help page 15 relevant tags, but I know that this can be less for reasons undisclosed by wordpress.com. My posts randomly don’t appear in the reader, and often I suspect this is the issue.

  My suggestion would be to try posting with less tags. and balance the tags between the “busy” tags and niche tags.That way you maximize the chances of “getting found”.

  Also review the section marked – https://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts … and obviously make sure you’re not hitting a snag because of any of those reasons !

  Appreciate your feedback…i’ll give those suggestions a go in the future. As this is a bit new to me, getting there takes a little time!

  You’re welcome :) … obviously if you can’t rectify the issue yourself, then do come back here to the forums – obviously staff often have powers to do things volunteers can’t, and maybe it’s an issue I’m unaware of :)
