Reader displays posts multiple times

Hi. I searched the forums and didn’t find this topic.
My reader displays posts from people I follow multiple times. They are not reblogs. Is there a fix for this?

That’s strange. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please take screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ and upload them into your Media Library and return to this thread to provide the file names for Staff. If you prefer you can use http://snag.gy/ After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Thank you. My reader is filled with so many duplicate posts that I can’t get beyond July 3.

Hi there,
I’m sorry for the trouble you’re having with the Reader. Can you please try unfollowing the blogs that are creating multiple posts in your Reader? You can do that here:
https://wordpress.com/following/edit/
Then, please try following the blog again to see if that resolves the issue.
If that doesn’t fix it, please send me links to the blogs that have posts appearing more than once in your Reader and I can keep investigating this for you.

Thanks for letting me know. I made an adjustment on our end — can you please check to see if the posts from that blog still show up multiple times for you? (You may need to refresh your browser or clear your browser’s cache to see that change.)

I shut down my computer and then restarted it. The problem is fixed. Thank you so much! I can see so many previously unseen posts now. :)
