Reader feed missing!

    My reader feed today suddenly cuts off after only 4 posts, the last one shown is 8 hours ago.
    Where are all the posts from yesterday? and previous days? They were all still there last night, before I logged out.
    I follow 255 other blogs and I have always been able to scroll back through their posts, to read ones I may have missed.

    Hi Ken,

    The Reader somehow how duplicate feeds for your site, and I’m guessing the duplicate feed was incomplete.

    I’ve merged the feeds, and your feed at https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/61652203 shows all your posts now…at least, I assume it’s all – I stopped scrolling down around July 2019 :D

    Nothing has changed:
    as I cannot see any posts from The BLOGS I FOLLOW (NOT my own posts) before yesterday.
    In other words the Reader feed only goes back ONE DAY!

    I follow 255 other bloggers and all their earlier posts are now gone.
    There were all there when I logged out on the 27th Dec.
    Then, when I logged in next day (28th Dec), everything was gone, except a few most recent (posts posted after 8 hours before).
    Nothing left to scroll down through.

    My problem is not about MY posts, but the feed of OTHER bloggers, I follow.

    (I’ve not posted anything since August, myself, but still enjoy reading other people’s work on the Reader feed, each day.)

    Thank you for clarifying that you’re speaking of the Blogs I Follow feed, rather than your site’s feed.

    I notice if I access the Reader as your account and click on individual sites under Followed Sites in the Reader sidebar, I can see all past posts, but on the combined view it only shows posts from the past day. I suspect there might be some content in a recent post on one of the site’s you follow that’s somehow breaking the feed, but I clicked through all the sites in your following list that have published posts in the past two days, and their individual feeds are all working fine.

    I’m reporting this to our Reader team to look into further, but I don’t expect to get a reply until next week. So for now you’ll need to use the Reader site-by-site instead – the Followed Sites list in the sidebar orders sites by the most recently updated, so it should still be relatively easy to see who has published a new post you haven’t read yet.
