Reader is clogged

  Hello. I have to often clear cookies and history to keep my reader from freezing. I use Safari, Firefox and Opera.

  And just now no matter which topic I follow, I get the same posts and it shows the same updates. This happens even when I clear everything and start fresh.

  Any ideas?

  If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

  If you are, please do these:
  (1) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
  Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

  (2) Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

  (3) Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  I’m also having the same issues as sethsnap and I’ve tried all of the suggestions by timethief, but it has not resolved the issue. I’m using latest version of chrome as my browser….

  When you say the latest version of Chrome what exactly what is the version number please?

  Sorry – that was a little vague wasn’t it? Version is 22.0.1229.94 m.

  I am having the same problem on Chrome. I get the same ones over and over, I have exited chrome and tried again, I have closed the reader and tried again, if I go to another topic, I get the same set of posts, and they go around and around.

  Yes, just experienced the same as well, very frustrating. Reading it on my tablet and never experienced it before.

  Please provide the version of Safari you are using.
  Do you have third party cookies enabled?
  Have you also disabled all browser add-ons?

  I just installed the latest version of firefox and the same thing is happening and with exactly the same posts.

  I wonder if everyone is getting the same posts.

  Hi all,

  I wasn’t able to reproduce this using Google Chrome 22.0.1229.94.

  Can you try Reader using a Google Chrome Incognito window?

  I’ve tried Reader using the incognito window in chrome and the issue has not been resolved. Still seeing the same posts and can’t refresh.

  same thing happens for me.
  i tried chrome version 22.0.1229.94 (regular and incognito window) and firefox version 16.0.2 … (emptied browser cache, cookies, etc.)
  so far, the problem still persists.
