Reader issues

I guess because of the new “My Sites” section there have been changes to the Reader as well. Now some german strings get either cut off or extend into other elements. (→ Screenshot.
I guess the problem is the 20px padding on the left and right for #sidebar ul li a, #sidebar ul li input#add-list-text and #sidebar ul li input#add-topic-text

Oh my. Thanks for pointing that out, Martin. I’ll check those strings in other languages, as well, and report that to our team so they can work on that.

I don’t have an update on this yet, but our designers are working on some tweaks to these pages. I’ll check in with them to see if the changes they’re working on will address this.

I assume the changes you were talking about are live now. Unfortunately the problem hasn’t been solved. The strings in the Reader still extend into the neighboring elements. Doesn’t look very professional. I still hope this will be fixed in the near future.

The designers are still working on some improvements to the Reader page itself (that haven’t been launched yet), and I’m keeping an eye on their progress and this particular issue. The problem with these strings should be fixed with the improvements they are making, but it might be a bit longer until they are ready to go live.
