Reader not getting notifications, can't resubscribe

  A reader on my blog told me that she hasn’t been getting email notifications. Here’s what she wrote to me:

  ‘I haven’t gotten any email notifications from the site since Tuesday (10/11)? I even tried the ‘Subscribe by email’ box and button on the bottom of the page but all I get is a message saying that my email address has *unsubscribed* from email notifications??!…which I didn’t do. Going into WP hasn’t helped either.’

  I removed her email address from the subscription list and advised her to resubscribe, but it appears she can’t. Here’s her response:

  ‘Tried to sign back up, but all I got was this:

  The email address has opted out of subscription emails.
  You can manage your preferences at subscribe.wordpress.com.’

  I just checked my list of email followers (wordpress.com/people/email-followers/cutetropolis.com) and this user is NOT on the list. What can she do to resubscribe to my blog?
