Reader not loading

  I have no problem loading the reader if I go to tags, but for those I follow, the reader is not loading. I logged out and signed back in to no avail. Has been this way for close to an hour. No problem earlier.

  Oh thank goodness! I thought it was just me and was just about to post the same query. When I log into WordPress.com and go to the Reader, I cannot see any of the blogs I follow. What I get instead is white rectangles containing pale blue oblongs, like it recognises something ought to be there but is not loading that content. When I click “Discover”, it is not even attempting to load. I tried logging out and in. I have tried shutting down my computer. Nothing. It has been like this for two hours now.

  I would appreciate any assistance.

  Laura, I just noticed that I’m able to get posts from my reader that are an hour old or less. Anything later than an hour shows as you described — white rectangles containing pale blue oblongs. Weird.

  Thanks, Victoria! Funnily enough, I just logged out and back in again and now that is my situation too. The most recent post it is showing me is 3 hours old. Isn’t this a peculiar glitch?

  Me too. I’m getting the latest postings, but nothing more. Also, I can’t get into “Following (manage).”
