macmanx & timethief….
Sorry not back to you sooner. I tried all of your solutions with IE9. Nothing worked. IN FACT—When I switched to https: and reset check boxes as indicated–NOTHING worked. I could no longer log in at all. I tried from the main log-in page and from the support page and the forums…Every time I tried to log in it just ran me around in a circle back to the log-in screen. That’s why I couldn’t get back to you sooner!! I couldn’t log in at all!! Tried to start a new page, but that wouldn’t work either…I am at a complete loss…..
Finally went to Firefox and downloaded it, and it allowed me to get here, but still cannot get to any of the links on the “W” tab. I am going to try to reset the https: back to the way it was—if I can get to it.
I can’t work without the Reader and the Notifications screen!! I also would like to have the Freshly Pressed screen too. Nothing works!! -
Are you folks able to load normal WordPress.com sites? Would you please check these two and let me know.
-
Both of those links function.
Both of my browsers will load wordpress.com sites (my own as well as others..) but neither will allow me to log in through the main log-in page (wordpress.com). If I go direct to my page (howardpeacock.wordpress.com) I can get into my blog (administrator) and use the dashboard okay—just no Reader or any of the other links. If I use https: I can’t log in at all—keeps looping back to the log-in screen.

Ok, would you please run a traceroute to s0.wp.com and reply with the results?
If you’re on a Mac, you can do that from the Network Utility at Applications -> Utilities.
If you’re on Windows, you can do that following this guide: http://kb.iu.edu/data/aihy.html

Your site loads relatively OK – Matt’s loads real slow
The reader hung and was real slow – hung loading s0.wp.com – took a long long time to load – finally loaded but did not put a stop watch on it but well over a minute – other sites load fine

could not get the copy text to work – I was able to trace s0.wp.com – did a screen shot and it is in the top of my media library – Trace-01
The copy text worked only once for me with a keyboard – not a clue – hope there are enough pixels to help
thanks
my dashboard did seem a bit slow also when I went to upload the graphic

Macmanx, does this look right? It would only give me this when I put in sO.wp.com.
By the way I also had trouble getting into WP. I’m logged in fine but now the entire site is not loading.

ameliespp, would you please add a space in there after the command? It should be:
tracert s0.wp.comhowardpeacock and auxclass, did it automatically switch s0.wp.com to cs82.wac.edgecastcdn.net for you?

I’m jumping in to say I am having similar problems. I can’t load my blog–all I get is the title of the site. All else is black. If I click on stats they take forever to load and there is no world map info. I cleared my cache and tried logging out. Now I can’t log back in. I had a friend try to view my blog from her computer and it just went directly to the wordpress home page.
