Reader notification issues

    I’ve been contacted by several of my blog followers whom I know personally and they all told me none of them had received a notification of my new post. I haven’t changed anything on my blog, although I think the whole site might have been updated because the whole posting area is different. Could this have messed up my reader notifications? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Have you double-checked your Settings > Email Post Changes to make sure the ‘Enable’ check box is still checked?

    I just checked and I think all of that is set correctly. They had been getting emails up until now and I haven’t changed anything.

    I am thinking perhaps their email provider has tightened its anti-spam controls and your emails, since they are automated, are caught in the filter. Have them check their spam folders.

    I see the latest post in the tag pages, so there’s nothing wrong with the post or the RSS feed.

    If you don’t like the new New Post editor, write your posts from the dashboard Add New post page. It’s got a fully featured editor, unlike the New Post button.
