Reader problems again!

Yesterday I had problems with blogs not showing up on my reader. I was advised to “delete browsing history” which I did and the reader was working again. However, today, the ‘reader’ is not working again and I have ‘deleted browsing history’ and no luck.
I have seen other posts on the forums with this problem and it would appear to be a problem with the functioning of WordPress as opposed to a problem with an individual’s computer.

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.

I cannot connect via http://shelbycourltand.wordpress.com doesn’t existshelbycourltand.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
However, I can connect when using https://www.shelbycourtland.wordpress.com/
The owner of http://www.shelbycourtland.wordpress.com has configured their website improperly.

I can also connect by using https://shelbycourtland.wordpress.com/ so I believe this is a connectivity issue re: HTTPS and SSL and that the user may also be using an outdated browser version.
My details are:
Operating System Windows 10 (64-bit)
Web Browser Firefox 57 -

That doesn’t look like a complete link, but it is what shows up when I try and post the link.
Plus, I am still having the problem today. I cannot see anything in my ‘Reader’.

I can’t see my reader today from either of my laptops. I use Edge on both.
I cleared my browser history out and I still can’t access my reader. I don’t know what to do next.

As you can see, gormleys, I tried to get WordPress to understand that it was a system problem within WordPress, but I was told that it was my browser that was the problem.
If two or more people are having this problem, and the other day, I saw another post stating exactly the same problem we are having, then WordPress needs to take this seriously and start troubleshooting instead of telling us that it’s our computer’s problem that we need to solve.
Good luck getting any ‘concrete’ help with this as I am still having problems as well.

I had to resort to using a different browser and that is the only reason my ‘reader’ is functioning.
I was using Internet Explorer version 10. Apparently, I can no longer use IE.

gormleys – Are you still having trouble with Reader?
shelbycourtland – Can you grab a screen shot of what you are seeing in IE when trying to look at Reader? If you add it to your media library I can have a look there or you CloudUp.

@timethief I’m sorry. I thought this was the same problem so that’s why I jumped in. I had no intention of hijacking a thread. And I don’t know why my old website is linked to my profile and not the new one: Alexisseay.com
staff-zinnia I switched my browser to Chrome and no longer have problems. I think Microsoft is having issues with its updates. I’ve had other problems in the past few months with Edge.
