Reader problems, constant re-start
-
Closing a post in reader takes you back to the top of the stream rather than back to where you were. In other words opening a post means you have start all over again in looking for posts to read. Happens in Firefox and Safari on Mac.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This, unfortunately, is how the Reader works since the changes they introduced last year. I avoid it by opening posts in a different tab on my browser (middle mouse button or hold Ctrl while clicking). You can also click the timestamp below the post excerpt to open the post on the blog itself, rather than in the pop-up window in the Reader which appears when you click the title.

You are right, it’s a known issue. The developers are working on it now: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpress-reader-10?replies=8

I remember when they just changed the Reader people were complaining about this. I assumed it was still the same problem, never reading posts in the Reader myself. I guess they fixed it at some point and now it has cropped up again.

I wouldn’t have known either–just happened to see the conversation on a different thread.
