Reader Question
-
I was asked, as part of an assignment to create a blog, which I’ve done here.
I was then asked to be able to follow my classmates blogs, to create an RSS feed reader, which I did on Google. On WordPress here, there is a spot, a button, that says’reader’.
When I click on this one it asks if I want to manage who I follow. I do. However, do I need to add my classmates blogs here to follow them or just to my Google RSS feed reader?
Also, when I go to ‘manage’ in the WordPress reader under ‘followed sites’ and enter any of my classmates blogs url’s , none come up in my searches. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You do not ever have to create any RSS feed in any wordpress.COM blogs and, in fact, you can’t. They have built-in feeds.
The RSS feed URL for your posts is http://kblumkeblog.wordpress.com/feed
All support docs are at http://support.wordpress.com
Type in feeds https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=feeds
Results https://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/
Note also RSS widget https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/rss-widget/You can add the URLs of any blogs you want to follow here https://wordpress.com/following/edit and the posts published will appear in your WordPress.COM Reader. But that’s not the only way to follow other blogs.
