Reader Suggestions
-
I’m a power RSS user and am currently using Digg Reader. I’d love to move over to the WordPress.com RSS Reader but it’s missing some key functionality that is essential for me and, I’d imagine, other similar people. Is this the best place to make some suggestions? Is there work going on with Reader?

OK so here’s what I’d like to see (suggestions given, as always, not as criticisms but in the spirit of making the product better):
Save For Later: Right now I use Pocket as a “read later” app, so either functionality that allows me to send stories there (or Instapaper and other services) or at least create a list of saved stories within Reader.
Unread Item Counts: It would be nice to see how many items are still sitting there so, basically, I know where the end of the tunnel is.
Folders: I like to categorize my feeds so if I need to I can prioritize business over pleasure reading.
While I appreciate the “follow tags” feature I also would love to see something that adds something random to my reading. So something akin to a curated feed of “Hey, we thought these would be cool” posts from various blogs within the WordPress community.
That’s the start. I actually wrote about this earlier this year here: http://christhilk.com/2015/04/28/its-2015-and-i-want-a-better-rss-reader/
If there’s innovation on Reader I’d be happy to take a look and offer thoughts/feedback.
