Reader usage question

My wish would be that the Reader lists blogs I follow with an indication of new material, but without taking up space with any sort of excerpt. Kind of like the side panel in Feedspot. The reason for this is a couple three blogs I follow post every day, sometimes several times, and they overwhelm anything else in the feed that might be interesting. I don’t want to simply unfollow them. Thank you.

As I’m not familiar with Feedspot I cannot understand your request. Can you please explain a bit more and if possible include a screenshot?

Imagine one of the blogs you follow has five posts per day or more, and another has one post every five days or less. Compound this over several days. You’ll never see the latter because it will have been pushed down below the others.
Hmm, I can’t paste a screenshot into this box. Oh wait, this might help.
