Readers unable to comment

    Good morning,
    Some of my regular/frequent readers tell me they are unable to comment.
    Is there a system problem?

    Otherwise, what can I do?

    There is no outstanding issue on our end. Could you please describe the issue in more detail? do they get a specific error message? or what do they so? and are you also able to reproduce the issue?

    The problem of readers not being able to comment continues. Her “set up” is exactly as recommended, regarding browsers, etc.

    She said, “The first time, it asked me to log in. Once I did, it brought me back to your post but my comment was not appearing. So I pasted it again (I had saved it just in case). I got the attached error page. “

    Her attachment (above) was an error message stating, “Duplicate comment detected. It looks as if you’ve already said that!”

    Isn’t there anything you can do?

    Perhaps you can ask her to either contact us direct at http://wordpress.com/contact or try a different browser to see if she also encounters the issue there, for example Firefox or Google Chrome.
