Readers unable to comment on my WP.org blog via WP Reader

I don’t see the comments here now at all, so something is different.

Thank you for your continued support and diligence. I had just temporarily unchecked all discussion check boxes and disconnected Jetpack from WordPress. I have now reconnected them and rechecked the discussion comment checkboxes.
I can comment to my posts on Reader but I am not sure that others can. Does it work for you now?

I’m still not able to load comments on your posts in the Reader, so it doesn’t look like reconnecting Jetpack did the trick. At this point I think the best we can do is wait for our Reader team to look into this.

Okay, it looks like the problem is that Jetpack’s JSON API module is disabled on your site, preventing our system from fetching comments from your site.
Please follow these steps to get to the Jetpack module list in your site’s WP-Admin dashboard, and activate that module, and the comments in the Reader should start working.

I have gone in and activated Jetpack’s JSON APIL module.
A friend checked on Reader to see if she could comment on my posts there. Voila – instant success!!
