Readers unable to leave comments on my blogs

My readership numbers are going up on both of my blogs, comments are going down. This isn’t acceptable for someone that depends upon interaction in her business. And, it is not good business to publish a blog that does not function properly.

Because I have received several emails from customers and readers stating that they are unable to leave comments, it appears to be more than a random problem.

This is what one of my readers encountered this week (copied and pasted from an email):

    Day 1

I tried to leave a comment at your blog,
but it’s prompting me to login and won’t
let me bypass that. I can’t remember my
login for the prompt so I cannot comment.

Can you tell me how to bypass the login
    requirement?

    Day 2

I just tried commenting at your blog again.

After a left my comment and clicked submit,
I was taken to the screen you see attached with my
picture. It was telling me that I was trying to leave
a comment from a Google account that I was not
logged into. So I used my Google credentials
to log in, and that took me to a WordPress log
    in page.

I was not logged into my WordPress blog when
I tried comment, nor was I logged in to Gmail.
But that sure is my picture.

I don’t know what to do!

Maybe I’ll try from Safari or another different browser
tomorrow. Today, I have tried in Firefox.
