  how do i read a blog from the beginning?

  You can arrange blogs so that posts appear in chronological order. That works if there aren’t too many posts but can be a problem as the weeks go by and the number of posts increase. Visitors soon get fed up scrolling past stuff they’ve already read. That is why the default settings are newest post first.

  The Rowling theme you use shows posts side by side. If you did go for chronological order it may pay to experiment with different themes where posts appear underneath each other.
