Reading Setting Issues – Tags & Posts specifically

  Apologies if this is a repeat. Search of the forum didn’t provide any satisfaction.

  Q: How do you keep tags from appearing on your posts?

  I have unchecked the “Tags” checkbox in the Reading section and it does tell me changes may not take place until I have updated my reader or published a new post. However, I have published several posts and updated my reader, deleted all my history, cache, cookies; basically everything I could think of and yet… tags still show up.

  I have the same problems with making changes to this same Reading section in showing full text or summaries of my posts. It seems like this page has a mind of it’s own and will do whatever the heck it wants to do.

  I am using Safari (Mac) and my computer is about 5 years ancient. Would/could this be the issue?
