Reading settings

  I am missing this option under Settings >> Reading:

  Blog pages show at most …

  It skips to Syndication feeds show the most recent …

  I really don’t want all of my posts to show up on my homepage, which is what it is doing now since I can’t tweak the blog pages setting. Is this something my theme is limiting or is this a website error?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It appears to be a limit with the theme that you are using. I activated Origin on my test install and the Blog pages option went away as well while other themes provide the option.

  1) Always give us a direct link to the blog in question, starting with http. Otherwise we can only make wild guesses.

  2) my wild guess is, you’re using a theme that has Infinite Scroll activated. Before I can tell you how to deactivate it, I need to see the blog. See #1.

  Thanks, that makes it easier.

  First, add a widget into the footer area, any widget at all, even a text widget with nothing in it. Then you can change the blog post show at most settings. It’s a little fiddly but it works.

  Hello! I’m having the same issue. Suddenly, my blog turned into endless-scroll and I don’t want it! I’ve looked into the settings but I can’t find the way to get back my pages numbers. In addition, when scrolling down, older posts don’t show social buttons. So sad!

  Any help would be highly appreciated!

  Thank you all so much for your help! I was able to fix by switching to a theme that supported footers (Bueno) and then adding the text box. After I did that, I switched back to Origin and the option was there. Thanks again!

  Thank you! I checked it and could stop the infinite-scroll thing but now all I can get is the “Load More posts” button. After clicking on it, the appearing post don’t show sharing options… Is there any way to fix that? Ho can I go back to the page numbers?
