Reading Settings – Summary

  I’m trying to show only a portion of the post and have a button that says “read more of this post” on the posts page. I have the radial button for “Summary” selected on the Reading Settings. The e-mail that is send is truncated and has the “read more” link but the post page still has the entire post. What am I missing to have the post be just the summary?
