Reading Settings | Summary

When I click on Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed, show = “Summary” (checked), I expect my posts here: http://marketmeasuresaustraliainpractice.wordpress.com/ to only present the first 55 words of the posts.
If you look at my current setup, this is how I have configured the above blog but for some reason, the blog is still displaying the full post as opposed to only presenting the ‘Summary’.
Please advise

Hi there – that setting only controls how your posts appear in an RSS feed and in the email subscriptions. To show excerpts on the front page of your blog, please use the More tag in each post where you’d like the excerpt to stop:

Thanks for that Eurello – that fixes it!
I’ve never had to use the more command in my other site as the theme supports a summarised display of content from each post. But I will be using the More Tag ‘More Often’ because of this.

Hi there – Perfect! Yep, some themes display excerpts by default, but for those that don’t, you can just use the more tag. :) Let us know if you need anything else!
