Reading settings – summary of each post

  I have been trying to get my blog to just show a summary of each post. I have gone into the reading settings and changed it & saved changes. It still doesn’t show the summary of each post. It still shows the entire post. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That setting is for your blog’s RSS feed, not for the posts themselves.

  What you want to use is the “more” tag:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
