When you deactivate or delete a wordpress.com subdomain, it can only be restored within 30 days after deletion. Once 30 days passed, the subdomain gets locked forever. This was very clearly mentioned when you deleted that subdomain, you even had to confirm you understood the consequences.

If the deleted subdomain still can be restored you can see and do as described at https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#restore-a-deleted-site

    precisioncutterdiscs.wordpress.com is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this site.

If you are talking about https://boringtoolsandmachine.com/ and you cancelled within the refund window it should become available in a few days. However it isn’t a great idea to cancel a custom domain if it is an important business address that you want to use in the future. There is always the chance a domain squatter finds it before you can buy it again somewhere else so keep checking. It would have been far simpler to keep the domain here and point it to a site at another host if you had decided WordPress.com was not suitable (although considering how customizable this platform is, I’d be interested to know where you intend to build your site).

i actually created the domain name http://www.boringmachinetools.com but unfortunately i assigned to a beta site ..the actual site which i should have assigned it to was https://boringtoolsandmachine.wordpress.com but it was assigned to precisioncutterdiscs.wordpress.com so i went ahead and deleted it …i still have the option to restore it as it hasnt passed the 4 days grace period i am on day 2 now ….can i restore it and assign it to the website i did create ….no i am not moving away from WordPress as its a gretaer tool for designing a webiste

If I were you, I’d restore it. The underlying address doesn’t matter as the custom address will be the one people see. It is easy to move content from one site to another if you have already started building your site at the other free address.

okay will do that , the other site is already made public …so it shouldnt be an issue iguess
