Reagrding making a new webiste

  So say i already have a site xyz.com which was not built on wordpress.com now i want to make a website on wordpress but want the domain name same as xyz.com. Sobasically if itype in xyz.com so my new wordpress website should open rather than old one. Is it possible?????

  Yes, you can do this. The domain needs to be connected to WordPress.com. There’s 2 options to do this.

  1. Map it
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  2. Transfer it
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/prepare-domain-for-transfer/
