Real date/time of posts

    Hi all,
    I know WordPress has the option of back-dating your posts. Is there anyway to know the real date/time when they were published?

    Hi there,

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

    That said, if you check the revision history of the post in the editor, that should show date- and timestamps for when actual changes to the post was made, so you might be able to find the actual publication date there.

    Otherwise, you’d need a service that logs activity on the site, like the Jetpack plugin, for example, to get this type of information. Also keep in mind any such service would only have data starting from the day you start using it, so won’t have any data about content that already exists on your site at this point.
