Real Domain in personal account

  WordPress Plans say you get a real non wordpress domain with every plan except the Free one, but when you try to sign up for a Personal plan and enter the domain, it says you must sign up for premium if you want a real domain. Anyone know what’s up with that? Thanks

  Hi there,

  You should be able to purchase a personal plan in order to register a custom domain. Have you tried going here to select the personal plan?:

  https://wordpress.com/plans/thankdogs.wordpress.com

  You should be able to click Personal Plan and check out successfully. Please let me know if that is not the case. Thanks!

  You should be able to click Personal Plan and check out successfully according to what it says in their plan, but when you get to that point in signing up, it says you must upgrade to a premium account to get a real domain or even switch over one you already own.
